Davidic Dance
Davidic Dance is a physical expression of praise, thanksgiving and joy to Elohim (God). The Hebrew word for dance is rachad (pronounced r'kad) which means to skip or leap for joy. Some of the dances are patterned after traditional Israeli folkdances; others are originally choreographed by Messianic believers. They are meant to be a danced as a group without any emphasis on one dancer. The tone of the dances range from reverentially devotional to exuberantly joyful. Dancers include men, women and teenagers.
All celebrations (weddings, seders, social gatherings etc.) as well as worship services are appropriate time to dance. Davidic dance can play an important role in uniting Jewish and gentile believers in praising the Lord.
"Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance,
the young men and the old, together,
For I will turn their mourning to joy,
I will comfort them,
And make them rejoice rather than sorrow"

Our Davidic Dance instructor is Lydia Renzulli.
Lydia has been dancing for the Lord in Davidic Worship for many years and her dedication and anointing comes through in the dance in all its beauty.
Hineni Messianic Congregation offers free monthly dance classes the second Tuesday of each month.

Fiery Hill Revival Report
Lydia has reported a wonderful and Spirit felt time at the FieryHill Revival. She met up with Lucy, Yochanan, Dorina and her friend. The Davidic Dance went beautiful and she had a fun time with the attendees that joined in for instruction. For many this was their first time experiencing Davidic Dance and to share was such a joy. Included in the line up where the Sky Family, Lindsey Family, Mark Bolos Band, Sherry Anne Limits, the band Anastasia, Del Nero Family, Rev. Don Thomas from Atlanta, GA, and traditional Hymns. The group were graciously hosted by Mike and Mary Delenero. A wonderful and Godly couple that God has used to host this wonderful event. What a great and wonderful time and blessing to impart and receive the love of God . We are thankful for the honor to have been a part of this great event.
